Program description
Internship Programs give you the chance to get real-world, handson specialized experience in almost any sector. The quality and level of your placement will depend on your experience, education, area of placement, time of year and duration of your placement. Placements involve project work and participating in day-to-day operations to see how an organization functions in Canada.
Internship placements can be in any of the following areas:
• Business Administration: including marketing, operations, human resources, or finance
• Engineering: any sector and in R & D, manufacturing, testing, operations, or design
• Media: print, digital, or web-based including design, operations and marketing
• Tourism: including destination management, travel, tours, operations, and hotels.
• NPO/NGO: not for profit organization management, events, sponsorship acquisition
• Sports Management: including sports team management/marketing, events, and equipment
• Law: limited to criminal, human rights and immigration law (note: no commercial law)
• Sciences: biotechnology, food sciences, robotics, geology, geography, environmental
This program is specifically designed for you to gain specialized experience in nearly any professional area and both have your placement confirmed before you arrive in Canada for 4 - 52 weeks and have the chance to start any week. Placements are designed around the industry area of your choice as well as your specific background, experience, language level, time of year,
and duration. You will have a pre-screening and company interview by telephone prior to receiving your placement.
Additional Information:
• Your industry consultation, host organization interview, placement, and placement
contract will all be completed before you arrive in Canada.

• Placement duration is from 4 - 24 weeks
(longer positions are available depending on your visa)
